NPFL Matchday 34 Report.

NPFL matchday 34 saw the final before final match between the ‘Pride of Plateau’ and the ‘Olukoya Boys’ at the Pwang Pam Stadium, but the heavy rainfall that started just before kickoff, rubbed the game of the much-needed allure. As the rain increased in intensity, the pitch became more unplayable. An early goal for Plateau United in the 3rd minute by Ibeh Johnson was all it take the Jos side to win and extend there lead on the table to 6 point behind MFM 56 point.
The Status quo was also maintained between 3rd place Akwa United who defeated visiting Niger Tornados at the Godwill Akpabio Stadium Uyo, by 3-0 and 4th place Enyimba FC who also defeated relegation struggler, ABS with the same margin, both team now having 54 point.

El-Kanemi Warriors displaced FC Ifeanyiubah of the 5th position to the 7th, by defeating the Nnewi boys with two unreplied goals in Maiduguri.
In other matches, a win for Nasarawa United against Lobi stars saw the Solid Miners moved from the 9th spot to 6th while a defeat at Pantami Stadium by Gombe United drop Kano Pillars to the 8th spot, but could not lift the Desert Scorpions from the 19th spot.
Abia Warriors without their injured goal poacher Sunday Adetunji(14 goals) defeated Shootings Stars by 2-0, moving them to the 6th position from 10th and drowning the Oluyole Warriors back to the relegation zone.
At the Mohammedu Dikko Stadium, Kastina United got to pass Wikki Tourist, while Chibuzo Madu penalty in the 27 minute gave Rangers International an edge over Sunshine Stars at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, although the Owena Boys got an equalizer with one minute left through Joseph Abiodun but the assistant referee flag was already up.
Finally, a 3-1 away win for Rivers United against already relegated Remo Stars, saw them move away from relegation spot but still within relegation point.
A total of 20 goals were scored with away team recording 3 goals.
