NYSC gives update on payment of N30,000 minimum wage to corps members

The Lagos State coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mohammed Momoh, has said the federal government is yet to release a circular ordering the implementation of the newly approved minimum wage for corps members. Former NYSC Director-General, Suleiman Kazaure, had assured that there would be an increase in the payment for corps members in accordance with the increment in national workers’ wage. Naira depreciates to N360.36/$ in I&E window

In spite of the 407 percent rise in the volume of dollars traded, the Naira, yesterday, depreciated to N360.36 per dollar in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window. Data from FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the window rose to N360.29 per dollar from N360.44 per dollar on Wednesday translating to seven kobo depreciation of the naira.
